Two new minis!

Hello! Despite best intentions, life tends to get in the way sometimes and I haven’t worked on the Scythe minis since my last post.

But! At long last I did pick up my brushes again recently, this time for a new commission.

As I mentioned in August, I got some new basing materials from Huge Miniatures and I’m just absolutely loving them. They are really easy to use and they just pop.

These will be winging their way toward their new owner tomorrow. 😊

Scythe Mini Painting

I recently got the board game Scythe which, if you have played the game, you know comes with a bunch of unpainted minis.

I figured having these minis remain unpainted would be a bad look for someone who paints minis as their passion, so I started in on them.

So far I’ve got the Nordic Kingdoms done and the Rusviet Union mostly done (they need to be based).

The sharp-eyed among you will note the bases on the Nordic Kingdoms are a vast improvement over my past bases, and that is because I got a bunch of new basing materials from Huge Miniatures. I am absolutely loving them. Some of the new materials I got and used here include texture paste, scenery highlight, 4-in-1 scatter flock, static grass flock. static grass tufts, and flower tufts. I really can’t recommend them enough – they’re easy to use and are pretty foolproof (and no, I don’t get commission, lol).
